Server Rules & Code of Conduct
Keyfall hosts two distinct realm categories: Friendly and Hostile. Whether you prefer cooperative building, marketplace trading, and dungeon crawling, or lawless, high-stakes PvP, you can choose your journey.
Any form of cheating (such as X-ray texture packs/mods, combat hacks, fly hacks) across any realm, or unauthorized griefing/stealing on friendly realms, results in an instant, permanent network ban.
General Rules
No Griefing on Friendly Realms
Stealing, base raiding, or destroying other players' builds is strictly forbidden. Do not touch, break, or harvest blocks or containers that are not yours.
No Cheating or Hacked Clients
Any client modifications that grant an unfair advantage (e.g., X-ray resource packs/mods, auto-clickers, PvP combat hacks, reach mods) are strictly banned.
Consensual PvP Only
On friendly realms, player combat is disabled globally by default. Friendly PvP is strictly consensual—unauthorized trapping or grief-killing will be punished.
No Illegal Item Duplication
Exploiting game mechanics to duplicate shulker boxes, equipment, or custom currency items is forbidden. Traditional vanilla mechanics like TNT duplication, sand generators, and tripwire string hooks are permitted.
No Begging for Items
You are free to ask other players for help or trade, but continuous spamming or begging after a player declines is not allowed.
Realms & Server Architecture
Keyfall features separate realms tailored to different playstyles. Note: Player inventories and ender chests are NOT synchronized between different realm servers.
Friendly Realms
- PvP is disabled globally by default (consensual duels only).
- Griefing, base raiding, and stealing are strictly bannable.
- Spawn island is a dedicated commercial district for Player Chest Shops.
- Base protection handled implicitly by the UnseenClaims system.
Hostile Realms
- High-stakes open PvP enabled globally.
- Base raiding, cannoning, and looting allowed.
- Unmoderated gameplay environment (excluding cheating/hacks).
- Cheating and illegal hacks remain strictly forbidden.
Allowed Client Modifications
The following commonly questioned client modifications are explicitly permitted on Keyfall:
Litematica
Allowed for schematic blueprints and block placement visualization. Easy place features that do not send automated packet exploits are fine.
Xaero's Minimap / World Map / JourneyMap
Allowed for navigation, waypoints, and world map visualization. Cave-mapping and radar features that track hidden players are ignored or filtered by the server.
